Back to School Basics!

My summer seems to be a fleeting moment in time.  As I walked through the doors of Target, I am reminded to make the best of the next three weeks.  My body says, "RELAX"!  My mind says, "I need to make, I need to clean, I need to unpack, I need to set up, I need.....!"  Oh.MY!

I shuffled past the dollar spot trying desperately not to look at the bright color bins.  A teacher loves a bargain.  I won't get sucked in!!!!  As I pass the dollar spot, I'm immediately drawn to all the Back to School clothes!  My weakness!  I persevered, turned the corner, walked through the shoe department, and ran smack dab in the middle of Back to School HEAVEN.  Pencils, Papers, Glue!  Like a roller coaster, I began feeling so many different emotions.

I'm sitting here thinking how I'll end the summer and think ahead to the school year.  I decided to host a week long event, Back to School Basics. Each day I'll feature a post on the topics listed above.  The post will include a  wonderful giveaway and fantastic freebies.  If you'd like to prepare, I'll host a linky so that you can share your favorite freebies on various topics!

You have me interested in this week's posts! Every one of them will be so helpful.

Actually, this is my last week off. So my mind is going in many directions too.

Target put me through the same roller coaster ride yesterday! Part of me feels like I should be spending every moment of the next 3 weeks working on school stuff and the other part thinks I need to soak up every last minute of free time. Looking forwards to your posts next week!!

I will be in my classroom again tomorrow. I love the dollar section at target. It comes right after my stop for popcorn.

This is my last week, also. I go back on Friday, and we have kiddos next Tuesday. I have made a to-do list, thanks to Katie Klohn. I have been not just been pinning, but I have also been doing! The Olympics are cutting in to my sleeping time. WOW! There have been some awesome moments so far!

I always feel so torn at this time of year. I know I need to get ready for the new school year and get organized but I also want to spend every last minute with my own children. I know they will be grown and out of the house before I know it.

Oh you poor things having just a week left. I have three and plan on spending as much time AWAY from school as I can. But, I already did half of my room set up a few weeks ago before I went away on holiday.
You will have plenty of time spent in school once it starts; enjoy the time OFF!!
